The Internet is People-Centered for Almost 50% of the World – Join our Dialog!

On December 10th, in San Jose, California, we invite you to  join a cast of Internet pioneers, innovation leaders, as well as the next generation of positive #ChangeAgents as we discuss the values of a ‘People-Centered Digital Future’ while reflecting on two major milestones.

First, December 10, 2018, celebrates that almost 50% of the world will have access to the Internet. Second, the world will also celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations (UN). This marks almost thirty years since the Internet was made publicly available.

Vint Cerf, Wendy Hall, Tim Berners-Lee, along with key visionaries David Bray, Mei Ling Fung, Marci Harris, and many more positive #ChangeAgents will reflect on the past three decades and pave the path for the future of the Internet and other digital technologies. Panelists will share lessons on how we achieved this connectivity, and more importantly, discuss strategies on how to engage the next generation of innovators and leaders. This event will guide our dialog and next actions to ensure the future of the Internet is accessible to communities and people-centered around the globe.
