On December 10th, 2018, Constellation Research will host a historic event with several of the Internet pioneers as well as the next generation of positive #ChangeAgents.
The focus will be on Our People-Centered Digital Future, specifically recognizing that by December 10th, 2018, almost 50% of the world will have access to the Internet just as the world also celebrates the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations.
Titled “Our People-Centered Digital Future,” the event recognizes that by March 2019, 50% of the world will be connected to the Internet. This inflection point marks an important moment for examining the “unfinished work” of the Internet and discussing the community norms, human rights and social contracts required in this exponential digital era. The event also aligns with the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations.
This special event, which aligns well with our PCI mission, will also kick off a special PCI challenge grant program, which will address society, education, environment, technology, and the future of human rights. We must provide access to every human to the Internet and we must also maintain our human rights in this digital era.
Together, we can demonstrate a better way forward for the Internet by championing positive #ChangeAgents.
Constellation is actively looking for sponsors for this historic charity event, if you are interested please let us know here.
