PCI Community Call: Tiffany Brar Fellowship Update Presentation
The PCI Community Call Planning Committee is happy to feature Tiffany Brar, PCI Fellow and Ambassador to the Community of the Visually Impaired.
Special educator, disability and gender activist, accessibility evangelist, motivational speaker Award-winning activist Brar is known for her organization, the Jyothirgamaya Foundation, which began as a mobile blind school in 2012, and is actively involved in the empowerment of persons with visual impairments, teaching life skills to people of all ages. Tiffany works with the PCI Community to broaden access to tools and services, so more of the community of the visually impaired can acquire the digital skills to participate and contribute more fully to society. She received the “Nari Shakti Puraskar” Award, which is the highest civilian honor for women in India, presented by the President of India on March 8, International Women’s Day.
