Palo Alto, CA, June 1, 2020 — People-Centered Internet, a California-based 501(c)3 organization with a mission to “put humanity at the center of the Internet,” announced new team member, Sarah Wright, who joins as Policy and Communications Coordinator.

Sarah brings experience as a journalist and a policy communicator — from a global think tank to the halls of Capitol Hill and today, as a journalist covering hyperlocal politics and education for the Half Moon Bay Review. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, focusing her studies on where international policy and communications intersect science and technology.

PCI co-founder and Board Chair, Mei Lin Fung, said, “Sarah’s talent and energy is a welcome addition to the PCI team. With her background in policy and excellent communication skills, Sarah will be an important part of helping PCI grow our community and expand our impact.”

“It’s an honor to join this group of leaders who truly put people and communities first,” said Wright. “PCI has some of the sharpest, most seasoned minds of the formation and future of the Internet, and I am excited to be putting their vision to work by developing and getting the word out about our local and global initiatives.”

In addition to communications and social media strategy, Sarah is the editor of the monthly PCI newsletter.
