In working to encourage a more People-Centered Internet, we can sometimes forget the challenges faced by individuals who are trying to address fragmented data, and deal with the increasing complexities of legacy IT environments. Dr Gregory S. Dawson of Arizona State University’s latest research paper is entitled, ‘A Roadmap for IT Modernization in Government’, and it outlines how Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and IT leaders can leverage technology to improve mission performance and agency productivity. It is our hope that CIOs can help to advance a more People-Centered Internet within, and outside of their organizations.
