Evolving Standards for Assuring an Inclusive Internet

The People Centered Internet was part of IEEE’s  Internet Inclusion: Advancing Solutions in Washington, D.C., on 24 April and 25 April. Day 1 included working group sessions, and Day 2 included a 2.5 hour briefing that was publicly broadcast live via IEEE.tv, and which is included below for on demand viewing. Sessions built on previous internet inclusion events organized by IEEE, as well as other programs dedicated to internet access, development and inclusion. These collaborative, multi-stakeholder events have outlined definitive opportunities to accelerate progress in meaningfully connecting the estimated 60 percent of the global population that remains unconnected around the world.
