Message from Mei Lin Fung, Co-Founder

Hello from Mei Lin…

We’ve come a long way since the People Centered Internet kicked off at Stanford in 2015. So when Vint Cerf as our Chairman called for a “Marshall Plan” for Puerto Rico, we knew this was the moment we were waiting for. Dr. David Bray, our Executive Director joined us after serving as CIO of the FCC has spoken of the transition from eGov to ePublic Service and the key role that #PositiveChangeAgents will play. As we reached out to our community we have been deeply touched and inspired by the response – a global network is mobilizing, to name just one: Women’s Campaign International is working shoulder to shoulder with us.

Our PCI team will be introducing Project Coqui led by Melvin Cordova and the “Dream Hubs” work led by Marti Grimminck. By listening to the voice of the people in the local communities in Puerto Rico, we can develop projects that are sustainable. These were the factors that enabled Singapore’s success: Invest in people, the most powerful underutilized asset will payback 100-fold.

Together, we can take action for a better future, demonstrating the power of the Internet of the people by the people for the people.

Join us to assure a better future that everyone can be part of creating.

Spread the word!
