Our founding member Ndemo Bitange from Kenya provides thought leadership for Africa that is completely applicable to the rest of the world: For a framework to make sense of Africa’s emerging digital transformation, we must consider the multiple environments that digital technologies are embedded in, and, by extension, the multidimensional change processes that they need to ignite. It is time to examine why actions and changes in some environments tend to more readily embrace the new possibilities offered by digital technologies, while others seem disconnected and are lagging behind.
